“It was my great honor to be able to repay the wonderful gift that this organization gave me. I am humbled by the
Foundation’s commitment to helping others and everything Toigo has achieved for our industry.”
The fund focuses its grant-making on two important funding efforts:
Contributions to support educational merit awards (fellowships) to MBA students selected as Toigo Fellows.
Support programming deemed critical to strengthen the Alumni network and continued professional development provided by the Foundation.
Grants are awarded based on the review of proposals submitted by the Foundation and are evaluated by the full board. Any grant award requires the
approval of the full Board of Directors.
In 2011 the Foundation launched the Toigo Institute, which
is focused on the specific needs of postgraduate minority professionals and Toigo’s work more broadly around leadership and inclusion within the
financial services industry. The Institute will incorporate programs the organization has provided to date, as well as introduce new offerings of
relevance and impact to the industry. As these programs are introduced, the Endowment Board will evaluate each regarding “fit” with our
overall grant-making mission, priorities and annual grant budgets. At the same time, the Toigo Alumni Association leadership orchestrates important
regional events to foster continued connections among the growing Alumni population, as well as planning the Annual Alumni Investor Conference each
June. As those activities continue to develop, the Endowment Board will examine Alumni initiatives of merit that warrant financial support.

In short, as a funding organization, we will ensure that all funds used are in keeping with our stated goals of furthering the mission
and impact of Toigo for us and possibly for our children in the future.
